It is only because of Cherokee Ridge Horse Farm that my soon-to-be 27 year-old gelding is still going strong. I've boarded my beloved "Dalmatian" (Leopard Appaloosa) at Cherokee Ridge for 10 years now and wouldn't have him anywhere else. It is my home away from home - a safe place to land after a stressful work week. Bill and Mary Langford, as well as the people they employ, have become friends and are one of the many reasons Cherokee Ridge is such a blessing to all of us who board our horses there. A little slice of HEAVEN!!!!! "Cherokee Ridge Horse Farm is a unique horse boarding facility within the Acadiana area. I love that my horse has his own individual paddock to graze all day and night while still being close to other horses. It is the perfect boarding environment for any horse to just be a horse. This 170 acre farm is the most peaceful place that I have found just minutes from Lafayette. Cherokee Ridge is by far the quietest barn that I have encountered which is great because after the usual hectic day at the office all I want is to go out to the farm and spend quality time with my horse without all the noise.
